The Greene County High School prom is slated for Saturday, April 10.
As in past years, parents of juniors are planning an after-prom party to provide a safe place for students when the dancing is finished. Community members, organizations and businesses that would like to make a donation to help pay for the after-prom party can write checks payable to Greene County Activity Boosters Committee (GCABC) with “After-Prom” in the memo line. Donations can be taken to the drive-up window at Home State Bank and directed to Ashley Johnston, or mailed to GCABC, c/o Ashley Johnston, Home State Bank, 115 W. State St, Jefferson, IA 50129.
Donations to the after-prom party via the GCABC are tax deductible.
